Behind the steel shoulders of the Chevrolet Impala are several decades of success and recognition. The creator of the car is Ed Cole, who presented the Impala concept in 1958. Until the end of 1965, the car held the palm of primacy in terms of cost. The 60s became stellar for the car, it was a bestseller. During its existence, the sedan has changed many times.
