Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are logged in the ECM memory when there is a confirmed fault in the system.

The codes are reported to the Triumph diagnostic software as a four digit code.

As mentioned earlier, when the system detects a fault, it begins to count the number of times the fault occurs before

illuminating the MIL and storing a fault code.

Similarly, if a fault clears, the ECM also records this fact and will turn off the MIL when sufficient no-fault warm-up cycles

have taken place. Any fault codes will remain in the ECM memory until the required number of no-fault warm-up cycles

have taken place. The number of warm-up cycles required to extinguish the MIL will always be less than the number

required to remove a DTC from the ECM memory. DTCs can be removed at any time using the Triumph diagnostic

software.

The system will log the diagnostic trouble codes listed below/over:

Motorcycle manufacturing

Triumph motorcycles are classics in every sense of the word. The family business, whose history has already exceeded the 100-year milestone, has always stood out from the rest of the bike manufacturers. At least for the reason that the design of the created motorcycles over time became a kind of style standard that other companies willingly used to make their motorcycle brands.

Already at the end of 1991, the company successfully mastered the production of three models: Trident, Daytona and Trophy, which were presented at an exhibition in Cologne. These were two Trident motorcycles, with engine sizes of 750 and 900 cm3, Daytona sports bikes with a similar volume, as well as Trophy touring motorcycles with a volume of 900 and 1200 cm3.

At that time, the company produced a few motorcycles - about 8 pieces a week. However, after 5 years, this figure has grown significantly, and already in 1996, Triumph produced about 1,500 bikes.

In parallel, such companies as Honda and Ducati also developed. Accordingly, the leader needed to significantly transform its production, improving it and developing new Triumph motorcycles that would surpass competitors in terms of quality.

As a result of this race, in 1997 the company released the best (at that time) model - the T595 Daytona. It was this motorcycle that determined the unthinkable popularity of the company and made it a leader among other enterprises.

Now the model range of Triumph motorcycles is represented by the widest range of modifications of bikes with engine sizes from 600 to 1200 cm3, which have excellent technical characteristics and original design.

The visiting card of the motorcycle brand is a three-cylinder engine, an injection system and liquid cooling. It is these elements that are equipped with almost all Triumph motorcycles. Now it’s worth dwelling on each brand family:

The Triumph Rocet 3 is the king of this range. Equipped with an obscenely large engine - 2295 cm3. This flagship has a capacity of 140 hp. With. It develops a speed of 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds, and this is with a dry weight of 320 kg. In 2006, a well-known brand released a slightly different modification of the Triumph Rocet 3 - Classic. This model featured a slightly different riding position.

Four. The hallmark of this lineup is the legendary Triumph Daytona 650 sports bike and the king of the streets - Triumph Speed Fo. Both bikes are equipped with a powerful 4-cylinder injection engine. Lightweight frame construction, adjustable suspension and a 6-speed transmission are just a few of the features that make this line stand out from the rest of the company.

Triple. This family was first presented at an exhibition in Cologne. Streetfighter Triumph Street Triple differs from its counterparts in a unique frame design, consisting of lightweight metal. The bike is equipped with a fully adjustable suspension and a 6-speed gearbox. Motorcycles Triumph Sprint ST - the legend of the "sport tourist", is distinguished by the cantilever mounting of the drive wheel, is equipped with a three-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1050 cm3.
